Once Clete has proactively found issues from your logs, it notifies the on call contacts with an Email.
One key element of the is the summary statistic which defines the number of times a particualr issue occured within a specific time frame. This frequency information also helps Clete to get a sense of the rapidity of this issue. The time frame highlighted in the summary stats of the email is calculated from the last email issued by Clete to ensure continuity.
The title in every email is the name of the service provided during context setup.
The alert overview gives a summary of the issue experienced. It is a high level view explaining the alert Clete has triggered:
Pattern analysis use the summary statistics to give a basic temporal view of how these issues occur i.e at random, uniformly, specific time periods etc
The Impact Assessment is where Clete analysis the range of possible subsequent effect that flow downstream from the identified issue. It uses this impact to gauge the priority of the issue resolution i.e low, medium, high
